Co-Founder, Creative & Producer
Amanda is a jack-of-all-trades theatre artist based in Ottawa, ON.  After graduating Theatre Arts at Algonquin College in 2014, she began working in the theatre scene as an actor and stage manager.  In 2015, Amanda started up Toasted Theatre Company with Lauren Cauchy, where she first began producing.  Her work as a producer has provided her with opportunities to work with companies such as undercurrents Theatre Festival, Youth Infringement Festival and LT Productions and gained her a Behind the Rideau nomination with the Prix Rideau Awards.

Co-Founder & Creative

Lauren Cauchy is an Ottawa native and a University of Ottawa Theatre Studies graduate. She has worked as a contract arts educator lending her performing, writing and directing skills as camp director and program facilitator for Arts Express Ottawa, as former Drama Coach for the Insight Theatre program and as the instructor for an all girls’ drama program with Christie Lake Kids. She has been creating and performing professionally with Ottawa based companies such as Counterpoint Players, Dead Unicorn Ink, and Vacant House Theatre. Lauren has always been drawn to devised performance and collective creation, and is so excited to found a company dedicated to the creation of new works that star female characters in active, plot driving roles.

Resident Performer & Creative

Alli is an Ottawa based Actor, Musician and Creator.  Alli is Toasted's musical accompanist for Lauren and Amanda Do It . Credits include: Badges (Fresh Meat 2017) Rhythm and Burgundy: The Comeback Tour (creator and performer) , Lauren and Amanda Do it Ottawa and Winnipeg Fringe (Toasted Theatre Company), Little Shop Of Horrors (Theatre Kraken) , Romantic Poetry (Black Sheep Theatre), Getting Odd (Toronto Fringe).  Alli is one half of the musical Comedy Duo Rhythm and Burgundy, Twitter: @rhythmburgundy.  Catch Alli's premiering her first solo musical show this coming spring at the Ottawa Fringe festival High School High.


Resident Graphic Designer

Tina Wallace is the in-house graphic designer for Toasted Theatre. Tina specializes in 2D digital animation and graphic art, and holds a diploma in Animation from Algonquin College. Her interests and influences stem from 1930s inkblot and rubber hose animation, 2000s pop punk angst, and hyper graphic street art. To see her work, visit or email her at
